Business Retention & Expansion Services
One of NCEDC's main objectives in our strategic plan is to retain and expand our existing primary employers and facilitate job creation. In Northern Colorado we are experts at cooperation. The NCEDC, Larimer County and the Cities of Fort Collins, Loveland, Berthoud, Estes Park, Wellington and Windsor agreeably work side-by-side to help retain & expand businesses. We've helped many businesses succeed in Northern Colorado because of our teamwork with local governments and businesses whether you're an entrepreneur or global company.
NCEDC assists companies by:
- Acting as a liaison or point of contact between any and all governmental entities
- Negotiating incentives locally and at the state level
- Creating customized site searches for real estate
- Providing information on all available local and state training grants
- Providing information on local Enterprise Zones and tax credits
- Offering specific demographic data and reports
- Responding to any general business retention & expansion economic development request
- Along with local governmental partners, assisting with expediting regulatory
and permit process/development review process
- Assisting the company with press releases or news conferences
- Coordinate workforce issues with workforce partners & educational entities
- Facilitating access into Colorado State Universities and programs
- Providing on-going customized assistance from NCEDC and
partnering organizations
