New Technigraphics Expands in Fort Collins
In a visit to Northern Colorado, Dee Vaidya, President and Chief Executive Officer of TechniGraphics, announced the company's intentions to expand its operation in Fort Collins, CO. In a move to accommodate additional growth, TechniGraphics purchased a 35,500 square foot building in southeast Fort Collins located at 3351 Eastbrook Drive in May of 2006. The company renovated the building and moved in to its new quarters in March, 2007, with plans to expand its employee base by 10% this year, with an additional 100 employees by 2010.
TechniGraphics is a multinational corporation that specializes in data capture, data management and information visualization solutions in the fields of geospatial technology (GIS) and product lifecycle management (PLM).
The firm started out in 1982 as Technicolor Graphic Services (TGS), a division of the "Color by Technicolor" company. It began working with early GIS systems and has progressed with the maturing industry to become a leader in geospatial technology. The company's federal customers include the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Department of Homeland Security.
